We are located in beautiful Ketchum, Idaho, the heart of the world-famous Sun Valley area. Sun Valley is a charming cosmopolitan area surrounded by a vast western frontier that offers some of the best skiing, mountain biking, and outdoor recreation in North America. With two storefronts on Main Street, and one next to the ski lifts in Warm Springs Village (winter only), Sturtevants is ideally located to facilitate adventures in the Sun Valley area and beyond.

We are driven to elevate the experience and performance of our customer’s outdoor adventures and mountain lifestyle through exceptional service and world class products.

We are authentic skiers, cyclists, and mountain people.
We are passionate service providers, rental experts, and product gurus.
We are focused on quality, performance, and style.

We are rich in history but are always looking to the future. Founded in 1948, we are one of the oldest ski shops in the country. We strive to be leaders and introduce our customers to the best services and products of today and tomorrow.

We are the home to Sun Valley Mountain Guides, a service that offers guided and instructional mountain biking and hiking as well as the only trailhead shuttle service (a.k.a. The Mountain Fairy) in the valley. Limiting the number of outings per day, SVMG matches the guest to the right guide to maximize the experience.

We are frequently voted to have the best customer service, best ski shop and best bike shop in the valley by ‘The Valley’s Best,’ an independent local survey. We are also commonly mentioned by various publications and websites as one of the top ski and bike shops in the country.

We are fortunate to live as we do and we are thankful for our wonderful customers. Thank you!

Ski – Bike – Live!
