“I just wanted to take a moment to give big props to Mary and Luke. Your store has a special place in our lives. We came to Sun Valley for our honeymoon in 1988 and we return every 5 years to relive the magic. We always seem to have a perfect trip. I can remember laughing at my wife’s tennis shoes 30 years ago and walking her into the store to buy some Sorels. So she thought that it would be cute to buy me some Sorels on our 30th. I thought I had gotten off easy, until my wife saw a pair of Rossi’s on sale and that got her going. Whatever….she works hard and deserved them. Mary was a great help in getting her all set up and Luke did a great job of answering my wife’s excessive questions about the skis. I didn’t catch the ski techs name Tuesday night but he stayed late to mount the boards. I really appreciated that. We left happy clients and I’m sure we will be back. I wanted to let you know that the store looked great and the staff is excellent. You should be proud of both of them. They represent the store very well.”

Peter refitted me with Salomon boots that have presented no problems while skiing. “Just want to say that I rode through Ketchum mid-June on the “Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Tour” and needed some help with my bike. My shifting and rear brake were just not going to make it much farther and Sturtevants was recommended at Stanley. So I went to get my bike and decided to head out and see how far I could get. Luckily on my way out I went by the shop again so I stopped. Todd the manager asked if he could help I explained my problem and that I wanted to get on the road again. He asked me to unload the bike and he put it on the stand and completely went through my shifting, took apart and rebuilt my rear brake, straightened my rotor and put on a new chain all the while taking care of other customers. I was on my way in about 1 1/2 hours the charge was about $75. I felt like I had robbed him, but I see him as friendly, helpful person and I want to say that appreciate his help and excellent service.” – Bert Cerrillo
