Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation Gold Teamer Wing Tai Barrymore, 19, followed up his December win at the U.S. Grand Prix with an invitation to participate in the Winter X Games at Aspen, Colo., Jan. 26-29, according to the SVSEF Web site. Barrymore will compete in men’s skier halfpipe against an international field.

“He was super excited. It is a dream come true for Tai,” coach Ben Verge said.

Before the X Games, Barrymore will compete at the Dew Tour at Killington, Vt., Jan. 17-22. Kaitlyn Farrington will also represent the SVSEF Gold Team there, competing in the snowboard superpipe. Graham Watanabe, a SVSEF alum, is in the snowboard cross field.
