Greetings! With summer approaching fast we have some great fishing going on. Whether it’s Brown Drakes, Pale morning dun’s (PMDs), or Baetis – Silver Creek is our early season go-to water. If these flies aren’t working, try throwing a trusty terrestrial pattern (also known as, the beetle or ant). With warmer weather on its way and rain diminishing, we should start seeing some of our local waters like the Big Wood, Warm Springs, and Trail Creek shaping up nicely over the next few weeks. The Big wWood above Baker Creek should also be running clearer than the rest of the Wood. As the water levels drop through Ketchum and Hailey I would anticipate some green drakes for a good family day! Check out Lake Creek Lake and Penny Lake to do some fishing and a picnic! Streamers of all colors have been working well. We look forward to seeing you at Sturtevants where you’ll always find a friendly face and advice is always free!

Tight lines!

– Chris
