taylor & Merin LCLThe Big Wood is now in its prime and green drakes are still being found through out the valley. Parachute adams, purple PMX with copper john or skwala stone dropper are also great choices. Warm springs has found many fish rising for a purple parawolf and small hopper patterns. Trail creek is running at 20 cfs which is great for that young angler learning to fly fish. Size 16 lightning bug and rainbow warrior nymphs dropped in the deeper pools is surely to create some action. be sure to get a nice natural drift in the faster runs with a tilt wing dun or caddis. With trico hatches being a little earlier than normal this year, early mornings on Silver Creek are magnificent. High mountain lakes may be a little more challenging to get to but there are some great cutthroats to be had.

Don’t forget about our FREE Casting Clinics on Monday nights from 6-7 at Atkinson park for both novice and experienced anglers alike!
